Terms and Conditions - Academic Peak Tutoring: Class Tutoring

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of class tutoring services provided by the “Tutor”, Academic Peak Tutoring and its tutors to students. By signing up to the PayPal subscription, linked in our induction email with this agreement, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

 

1. Services Provided

  • The Tutor agrees to provide class tutoring services in Mathematics.

  • Sessions will be conducted online at a predetermined time and location.

  • The Tutor will provide educational support but does not guarantee specific academic outcomes.

2. Payment & Cancellation Policy

  • The Student/Parent agrees to pay $40 per week.

  • Payment must be made via a PayPal subscription service or via weekly invoices as agreed.

  • Cancellations should be made via email and can be made anytime and will be taken into effect from the moment Academic Peak Tutoring receives the email. This means, Academic Peak Tutoring reserves the right to retain payment for any lessons prior to cancellation, however under Academic Peak Tutoring’s discretion, refunds for such instances are possible.

  • Refunds are not provided for weeks where the student attended.

3. Parental Consent (For Minors)

  • If the Student is under 18, the Parent/Guardian must provide consent for tutoring services. By agreeing to these conditions, you (parent/guardian) give us consent to provide our tutoring services to a child under the age of 18.

  • The Parent/Guardian acknowledges that they are responsible for ensuring the Student’s attendance and engagement.

4. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • The Tutor will keep all Student information confidential and will not share personal details without consent.

  • We retain records of student details such as, but not limited to:  email addresses, names, etc. for documentation and admin purposes.

  • The Student/Parent agrees that online tutoring sessions may be conducted using third-party platforms, and they understand the associated risks.

5. Liability Waiver

  • The Student/Parent agrees that the Tutor is not responsible for academic performance, test results, or any other outcomes related to tutoring sessions.

  • The Tutor is not liable for any injuries, technical issues, or other incidental occurrences during sessions.

6. Agreement & Consent

  • By signing up to our PayPal subscription, the Student/Parent/Guardian confirms they have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this agreement.
