What subjects do you offer tutoring for?

For private tutoring, we offer lessons in every single subject taught in primary schools and high schools across all of Australia.

For class tutoring, we tutor high school maths for Years 7–12. For Years 11 and 12 specifically, we tutor Maths Methods.​​​​

How does your approach to online tutoring work?

All our online group classes are conducted on a virtual classroom platform. The link to the meeting is supplied to students in each cohort’s classroom upon class allocation. We also provide online lecture content that we make ourselves for students to watch before the live class, which recaps this content. In the live class, we focus on applying the content and the tutor guides students through practice questions and active learning.

For online private tutoring sessions, the method video calling is typically decided between the private tutor and the student/parent and we teach all of our private tutors on various ways we recommend facilitating these online lessons so that there are no issues.

What qualifications do your tutors have?

All our tutors have outstanding academic results. Not only have all our tutors excelled in academics at a high school level, but they have also excelled in their classes at university.​

How much does tutoring cost?

We offer one subscription plan for all our class tutoring students, which is $40 per week.

The cost for private tutoring varies depending on the difficulty and popularity of the subject and the quote you receive upon registering into the tutor directory is the full price.

What payment methods do you accept?

For class tutoring, we use PayPal to process our customers’ subscriptions, however customers don't need a PayPal account of their own. The subscription feature is very straightforward and $40 will be deducted automatically from your account each week. Please contact us if an alternative payment method, such as bulk billing is your preference however.

For private tutoring, we also use PayPal and will send out an invoice reflecting the number of hours private tutors worked over the past month.

What is your cancellation policy?

For class tutoring, as soon as our customers notify us via email that they wish to cancel their subscription, they are no longer required to make payments. However, we ask our customers to specify whether they are cancelling, or pausing their subscription for admin purposes.​

For private tutoring, clients can also cancel at anytime by contacting us and we do still invoice for all completed lessons.

Do students need their own email account?

If enrolled in a class tutoring program, students require access to an email account. This email account shouldn't be their high school email.

What if I miss a a class tutoring session?

If a student misses a live class session, don't worry! They won't fall behind so long as they have watched and understood the pre-recorded lecture content which is available to watch anytime. If they need help with the content, our online Discord group channel is always available for students to ask for personalised help.
